The senior from Oklahoma City (Southeast High School) posted back-to-back double-doubles to lift the Islanders to a pair of Southland Conference wins last week.
Coming off the bench at Lamar on Wednesday, Thomas poured in 22 points, going a perfect 8-for-8 from the line, while grabbing 12 boards to help his team secure their first SLC road victory. Fourteen of his 22 came in the second half and overtime as AMCC rallied late for the win.
Thomas was even better at home against Abilene Christian on Saturday, pouring in 28 points on 10-of-16 from the floor. He completed the double-double with 11 rebounds.
